Subglottic Haemangioma
- Characteristics: Congenital vascular lesion not present at birth but grows rapidly over the first few months of life.
Symptoms
- Biphasic stridor
- Tends to involute slowly after one year
- 50% of patients have cutaneous haemangioma in the head and neck
Treatment
- Systemic steroid, interlesional steroid, Propranolol
- laser ablation, tracheostomy
