1. After scrubbing & anaesthesia.
2. Clean the area.

Arrange Instruments & Prepare: Lay out all necessary instruments in order. The procedure follows scrubbing, administering anesthesia, and cleaning the perineal area. (Note: You will be asked to name and arrange these).
Procedure2Empty Bladder: Use a Metallic Catheter to ensure the bladder is empty.
3Visualize Cervix: Insert a Cusco’s or Sim’s Speculum to get a clear view of the cervix.
4Stabilize Cervix: Grasp the anterior lip of the cervix with a Tenaculum or Vulsellum to hold it steady.
5Sound the Uterus: Gently insert a Sim’s Uterine Sound to measure the depth and determine the direction of the uterine cavity.
6Dilate Cervix: Gradually widen the cervical canal using Hegar’s Uterine Dilators in sequential sizes.
7Evacuate Contents: Introduce Ovum Forceps to remove larger products of conception, then use a Uterine Curette to systematically scrape the uterine lining.
Post-Procedure8Specimen Collection: Collect all tissue for histopathological examination.
9Completion & Debriefing: Remove all instruments, clean the area, and inform the patient that the procedure is finished.
10Documentation: Record all findings and procedural details.
