  • Presumed to alleviate cravings associated with nicotine withdrawal affecting noradrenaline and dopamine

• Varenicline Tartrate (Champix)

  • Targets nicotinic acetylcholine receptors to decrease cravings and withdrawal

• Clonidine & Nortriptyline

  • Second-line medications used in smoking cessation
