Congenital Nephrotic Syndrome
- Presents in the first 3 months of life
- Anasarca, hypoalbuminaemia, oliguria
- {Finnish’ Type}
- Antenatally detectable:
- Raised AFP in maternal serum and amniotic fluid
Complications
- Failure to thrive
- Infections
- Hypothyroidism
- Renal Failure (2 – 3 yrs)
