Follicular Carcinoma

• Differs from follicular adenoma by the presence of capsular or vascular invasion (FNA cannot differentiateZ)
• More aggressive than papillary,
• Spread- mainly by blood .
• Death due to local extension/ extensive metastasis of bone, lungs & viscera
• Thyroglobulin- to follow the course of the disease
