Objectives

At the end of this session, students will be able to:

1. Identify differential diagnosis of case presented with loss of appetite & lethargy.
2. Enumerate & discuss the important signs & symptoms in patients with anemia.
3. Differentiate between different causes of anemia.
4. Discuss briefly about iron – deficiency anemia.

2. Investigate appropriately a patient with anemia.
3. Advice initial management plan for a patient with anemia.
