CM

  • Very common, slow-growing and benign tumor of fat
  • Soft, mobile subcutaneous mass (not attached to the skin) enclosed in a thin fibrous capsule, slippery edge, and no skin changes 
  • Most are asymptomatic. 
  • Fistula, etc… = Malignancy
  • Treatment: risk assessment, aspiration; surgical.
